Nowadays more and more people are driving Four wheel drives, SUV's, Vans & People movers which are substantially harder to see what is behind which in turn can contribute to vehicle panel damage, damage to someone else's property or worst still a pedestrian (especially a child) can get injured or killed.

Reverse sensors alert you of any obstructions by beeping at certain rates depending on the distance between your car and a person/obstruction. As you get closer to the object, the beep rate becomes faster.

An option you can choose to make parking easier is forward parking sensors. Operated by a separated switch, you can choose to have parking assistance instead of assuming the distance between your car and the car in front.

Reverse sensors are available in the following configurations:
- 2-eye for rear only (with or without optional display*)
- 4-eye for rear only (with or without optional display*)
- 6-eye for rear and front (with display which shows the front & rear distances*)

* The display is mounted in an easy view location and displays the distance in X.X metres (for example 1.2 metres) and wether the closest obstruction is on the left or right side.

Reversing sensors can be painted to match the colour of your vehicle.

Reversing cameras actually allow you to see what obstruction is behind you, depending on the vehicle, you can choose from a small camera mounted near the number plate, a camera flush mounted in the bumper bar, inside the rear glass or even on top of the vehicle (in the case for trucks, buses, coaches, etc.).

You can also choose the style of display from rear vision mirror displays (the display appears when you engage reverse gear), a separate glass mounted display, integrating your existing navigation display (Make & model dependant) or even integration with original equipment dash-mounted colour screen entertainment system.
