With so many different security systems on the market, it is understandable why it is hard to choose the right system for your vehicle. Many car security retailers tend to sell you a car alarm system or engine Immobiliser which gives maximum profit for the dealer and maximum subsequent problems for you down the track.

Technique's range of Car alarms, Engine Immobilisers and Keyless entries cater for all cars and budgets - from a simple keyless entry to a basic car alarm to multi-point immobiliser alarm systems which meets Insurance requirements.

Our range of Security systems are suitable for Cars, Commercial vans, Trucks, Excavators and other Earthmoving Equipment - both 12 and 24 volt.

We have developed a schedule below to help you choose the right security system to suit your car. Simply check with your insurance company to find out the minimum requirement for your vehicle (if applicable), read each of the level categories and decide on the security system model or allow us to recommend you the right system to suit your car.

Level 1 Security systems
Level 1-security systems provide adequate low cost protection for low risk cars and for cars with or without original equipment immobilisation. Remote systems provide keyless entry convenience for cars equipped with central locking. All level 1 systems feature single point immobilisation (except for the upgrade alarm)

Level 2 Security systems
If you desire more protection or if your vehicle is not equipped with an original equipment immobiliser, then the Level 2 range of security systems will suit you better. All Level 2 systems feature 2-point immobilisation and systems marked with an asterisk (*) fulfill basic car insurance security system requirements. Selected systems available in 24 volt for trucks and earthmoving equipment

Level 3 Security systems
Level 3 security systems provide an even higher level of protection. All Level 3 systems feature 3-point immobilisation, black wiring, digital keyless battery backup siren and anti-tamper security housing.

Level 4 Security systems
If you are after the best protection possible for your ride, this is it! 5 or 6 point immobilisation with 'Booby trap' circuitry, ultra loud and irritating internal screamer, digital keyless battery backup siren and Technique's quality installation & 2 year warranty are just some of the features.

There is absolutely no sympathy or mercy for electronic punishment given to anyone breaking in to a Level 4 euqipped car.

If you would like to add the luxury of remote central locking without the need for an Alarm or Immobiliser, a Keyless entry is available.
